The "Edible Museum" in Baoding, a dining and food museum, has grandly opened.
Understanding Baoding starts with its cuisine. To understand Jicai (Hebei cuisine), one must begin with the Baoding banquet. The Baoding Banquet Food Museum, centered around "Boot City Culture," with "Baoding Cuisine" as the main theme, and "One City, Three Meals, Four Sceneries, and Five Banquets" as its focus, is built to be a 66,000 square meter "edible museum" in China. Inside, it features four major themed areas: the "Boot City Museum," the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Old Brand Museum," the "Lotus Pond Culinary Academy," and the "Culinary Porcelain Museum." It showcases unique forms such as Boot City memories, street markets, pavilions, gardens, trendy check-in spots, and national style, deeply exploring and gathering the essence of Baoding's nostalgia and local memories. It aims to inherit and promote Baoding's cultural soft power, presenting "Baoding on the Tip of the Tongue" to the world.

February 2nd, the dragon raises its head | Spring is in full bloom, welcoming auspiciousness.
The Dragon Rises The second day of the second lunar month, known as "Dragon Raises Its Head" or "Qinglong Festival," is a traditional festival in rural China. Its origin is closely related to ancient astronomy's understanding of the movement of stars and agricultural solar terms. The ancients observed that on this day, the second day of the second lunar month in the lunar calendar, the Dragon Horn Star rises on the eastern horizon, resembling a giant dragon raising its head proudly, hence the name "Dragon Raises Its Head."
